Recipe for Pancakes
Prep Time - 5-10 minutes
Cook Time – 3 minutes per pancake
Serves – makes 8 pancakes
Equipment
- Mixing bowl
- Measuring jug
- Digital scales
- Whisk
- Non-stick frying pan
- Spatula
Ingredients
250g plain flour
20g caster sugar
18g baking powder
6g salt
2 eggs
360ml milk
100g softened butter
Method
- Whisk together dry ingredients
- Combine wet ingredients
- Make a well in the dry ingredients
- Beat in wet mixture to a smooth batter
- Put pan on medium heat, with a teaspoon of oil
- When the oil is hot, pour in about 1/4 of a cup of batter
- Flip when bubbles form on the top
- Cook until second side is golden
- Serve
Note – You can make a batch of pancakes up and leave them in the fridge, however make sure you seperate each pancake with greaseproof paper. You can reheat the pancakes in the oven or microwave.
