Pancakes

Recipe for Pancakes

Prep Time -  5-10 minutes

Cook Time – 3 minutes per pancake

Serves – makes 8 pancakes

Equipment

  •  Mixing bowl
  • Measuring jug
  • Digital scales
  • Whisk
  • Non-stick frying pan
  • Spatula

Ingredients

250g plain flour
20g caster sugar
18g baking powder
6g salt
2 eggs
360ml milk
100g softened butter

Method

  1. Whisk together dry ingredients
  2. Combine wet ingredients
  3. Make a well in the dry ingredients
  4. Beat in wet mixture to a smooth batter
  5. Put pan on medium heat, with a teaspoon of oil
  6. When the oil is hot, pour in about 1/4 of a cup of batter
  7. Flip when bubbles form on the top
  8. Cook until second side is golden
  9. Serve

Note – You can make a batch of pancakes up and leave them in the fridge, however make sure you seperate each pancake with greaseproof paper. You can reheat the pancakes in the oven or microwave.

  • Blueberries and lemon juice
  • Maple Syrup and smokey bacon
  • Strawberries and ice cream
